Thassos, one of the most stunning Greek islands, located in the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea. Thassos is famous for its natural beauty, picturesque beaches, and laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. The island offers a perfect blend of breathtaking landscapes and a rich cultural heritage, making it an ideal place for relaxation and creativity.
The International Festival “Emerald Island” is a non-competitive celebration of traditional and modern dance, music, and performance. The festival is open to children and youth folklore dance groups, modern dance groups, vocal and instrumental groups, choirs, and performers from other art styles. There are no age limits, allowing all participants to come together and share their artistic talents.
Each group will perform in two concerts and a defile, with performance durations based on the number of participants.
Participants will stay in apartments and hotels in Potos, a beautiful village on Thassos, with Half Board accommodation, which includes two meals per day (breakfast and lunch). The accommodation is conveniently located near the festival venues, offering easy access to performances and leisure activities.
Groups will be accommodated in rooms with 3 or 4 beds, each featuring a private bathroom. Each group will receive two double rooms free of charge for the leaders and drivers.
For additional room requests, the charges are as follows:
For every 25 participants, the 26th participant stays free.
Transfers:
The festival organizers will arrange transportation for groups arriving by plane, including airport transfers to and from Thassos. The cost of this transportation will depend on the number of participants and will be agreed upon separately.
Bus Parking:
Groups arriving by bus can use their own transport during the festival and for local journeys around Potos and other areas of Thassos. Parking fees are the responsibility of the group and are paid directly at the parking facility.
Payment Details:
The final participant list must be submitted 30 days before the festival start date. Deposits are non-refundable after this date.

Theologos is one of the most picturesque and traditional villages in Thassos. Small alleys, traditional houses made of stone are only some of the things you will see in this village built in nature. We can provide the following services for your group:
The groups should pay the travel expenses by themselves to Thassos and back.
The groups coming by bus can use their own transport all the time during the festival and the small journeys around the city. Any expense caused by the usage of the bus (accident, robbing, breakdown, etc) should be covered by the vehicle’s insurance. Each member must have travel insurance policy.
Free Parking
The groups coming by plane should organize the transportation from their country to airport (Kavala / Thessaloniki) and back. The cost of the transportation from airport to hotel will be covered by the group and will be additionally agreed according to their number.
